Trademark specimen

When registering your trademark in the US, applicants are required to provide a specimen of use. A specimen is an example of how customers encounter the mark in the US, e.g., a label, product packaging, website, etc.

The purpose of the specimen is to prove the mark is actively used in the market. Without an acceptable specimen, the USPTO may refuse your application.
