Does a response to a trademark specimen refusal cost anything?

Like responding to any other type of office action in the US, responding to a trademark specimen refusal doesn't cost anything.

However, some indirect costs may occur. If the refusal results in the loss of your TEAS Plus status, you'll be fined $100 per class. You may also need to pay to produce a substitute specimen. If you are using the services of a legal professional to help you with the refusal, those will also be subject to their fee.
